The U16 Camogie team once again did the school proud with a fine display in their All Ireland Final against Mercy Convent Waterford. The exciting game took place last Saturday in Monasterevin with the girls losing on a 2-8 to 1-3 scoreline.
The girls deserve great credit for the excellent manner in which they represented the College on the day. Their display was full of skill and endeavour and reflected all the hard work that the team and their coaches Ms Clune, Ms Cosgrave and Mr Breheny have put in since the start of the school year. Remarkably a huge amount of the team are underage again next year, so the future of camogie in the College looks extremely bright.
