In line with the great work in promoting literacy in the college a group of fifth and first year students were invited to The Mansion house for the launch of The Literacy Association, formally The Reading Association of Ireland. On the day students were treated to story telling by Neil de Búrca as well as meeting the Lord Mayor. Students from schools around Dublin both primary and post primary were invited to read a passage from their favourite book. Grainne Dignam from fifth year read beautifully from her favourite book Wonder by RJ Palacio. A great day was had by all!
