Hope Foundation
Well done to the 6th Year Religion classes who ran a cake sale on Wed the 8th and raised €225 for the Hope Foundation.
Halloween Cake Sale
The Transition Year Class also held a Cake Sale before the Mid Term. This raised €240 which will be put towards the development of our School Garden. Well done to all involved.
Random Acts of Kindness
Random Acts of Kindness Week took place from the 23rd of October until the 27th of October. This is a fantastic tradition that takes place in the school every year. Well done to all who took part. We will have a full blog update on the website later in the week.
Enterprise Fair
First Years have begun preparations for the Christmas Enterprise Fair. We look forward to welcoming First Year Parents to this event on Wednesday the 20th of December.
School Bank
This is open every Thursday at 13:00 in the library. New members welcome.
Garda Visit
We will be welcoming two members from the local Terenure Station to the school on the 13th November. They will be exploring the topic of Cyber Bullying with our first years. We greatly appreciate them taking the time to make this visit.
The Musical
Preparations are in full swing for the college musical “Back to the 80’s”. Keep the 12th of December to the 14th of December free in your diaries.
GAA
The Boys Under 18 Hurling Team play their Championship Quarter Final on Wed @ 1:30 pm in Tymon Park. We hope this team are rewarded for their huge efforts in training with a place in the Semi Final.
Girls Gaelic Football matches will resume next week (beginning the 13th) with the Under 16 and Under 18 teams in action on Mon (V Lucan CC @ 11) and Thursday (V St Josephs Lucan) respectively.
The Boys Under 14 Gaelic Football Team have now qualified for the Championship Semi Final. This will take place over the next couple of weeks once our opponent is determined.
The Boys Under 16 Gaelic Football Team will play their first match of the competition on Friday the 10th November @ home V Col Ciarain. We wish them the very best of luck.
