Congratulations to the LCVP Team who ran a fantastic Charity Ball Drop this morning. Please find a report of the day’s events below;
“On the beautiful Friday morning of the 4th of May, the 5th year LCVP students set out through the fields of Tymon Park to set up our charity ball drop. After a brief trial run the hill began to fill up with 1st, 2nd and 5th year students eager to watch the event take place. After the countdown, the lids on the bins were raised and ready to go. The balls began to escape and roll down the hill, racing each other one by one and competing for first place. We had a total of 13 winners. First prize being an iPad won by Yasmin Dincbudak. We raised around €4000 for a great cause. We would like to thank everyone for coming and taking part in our event. It was successful day raising money for the Irish Guide Dogs and the school’s facilities and we hope everyone enjoyed it”
