Girls Gaelic Football Update
Update 31st October 2019
Congratulations to the Girls Under 18 Gaelic Football Team who have qualified for the Leinster Quarter Final after an excellent win over Our Lady’s Terenure. The girls played some excellent football in tough conditions and were fully deserving of a hard fought win. The team includes 3 players; Aisling & Claire Gannon and Roisin Connolly who also play for the St Judes Camogie Team who play in the Dublin Senior Camogie Final this weekend against St Vincents. We wish the team the very best of luck.
The Girls Under 16 team (pictured below) were beaten by an exceptionally strong Lucan team in the first round. The team is particularly young and consists mainly of 2nd and 3rd Year Students so the future is bright despite the defeat. The Girls Under 14 competition doesn’t begin until after Christmas but training for all teams continues to take place on Monday after school. New players (particularly First Years) are always welcome and any students wishing to play should see Ms Brennan or Mr Burke for further information.
