Minutes of Board Meeting 19 Dec 2019 read and accepted.
There were no Matters Arising.
The Transition Year co coordinator made a PowerPoint presentation on the Transition Year Programme and plans for 2020/2021.
The Secretary made his report on Child Safeguarding for the term since the last meeting.
The Secretary presented his report on finances to end of year 2019 and outlined the financial challenges for 2020.
The Secretary presented the St Mac Dara’s CC School Plan and ‘Know your School Booklet’
The Secretary presented his Principal’s Educational Curricular and Extra Curricular Report on all aspects of College events.
The Secretary expressed his thanks to the Parents Association for their support at various college events.
The Board updated and ratified RSE Policy and will work on an updated draft of the Drugs and Substance abuse Policy for the next meeting.
The Board expressed its thanks to all the staff for their excellent work with their students.
The Board passed on its best wishes to the 3rd and 6th year students beginning their Mock Exams.
The next Board of Management Meeting will be Monday 23 March 2020 @ 4 15pm.
