This Friday (September 20th) the students of St Mac Dara’s are leaving their uniforms at home and are instead wearing Blue to show their support for the Dublin Senior Football Team. The Dublin team play Mayo this Sunday in the All Ireland Final in Croke Park and once again the school will be cheering on former student Kevin McManamon as he appears in his second All Ireland Final.Students are asked to make a €2 contribution on “Blue Day” and this money will be used to help fund Student Council and Sports activities within the school.
