Barry Austin
“I’m a Christian Father of 2 daughters who are now 10 and 14. I’ve been a Mental Health Nurse for 15 years now, specialising in adolescent mental health for 2 years. Currently working in addictions and recovery. I firmly believe, as stated in the Irish constitution, that parents are a child’s primary educators and believe parents should play an active role, be aware and involved in their children’s academic lives. My interests are exercise and current affairs”.
Noel Stenson
“My name is Noel Stenson and I am a past pupil of St MacDaras. I am living in Willington and currently have 2 children attending the school (one in 3rd year and one in 6th year) and one who is a past pupil. I have worked on the Board of Management with Derek Ward and would be delighted to continue to help the school to grow and prosper under the leadership of Frances Gibson”.
Amy Ellis Hevey
“I am a new parent to the school as my eldest child has recently joined 1st year. I served on my child’s primary school Parents Association for many years, and still do, as I feel strongly in the connection of home&school and how it can positively impact our children’s education. I have a real interest in our school community and would enjoy helping to oversee good governance and management as well as ensuring the important polices, which affect our children, such as discipline and anti- bullying are properly enforced. I would approach each topic with an open mind and do my best to advocate for parents and uphold our school ethos.”
