Fighting Words

The four TY classes had the opportunity this year to partake in the ‘Fighting Words Creative Writing’ workshops. Each class, accompanied by their English teacher, travelled into the Fighting Words headquarters in the city centre and engaged in a two-hour play-writing workshop. Students used their imagination to write, direct and act out a scene from a play of their own creation. This was a great opportunity for the students to explore creative writing outside the confines of a classroom. Well done to the students for their exemplary behaviour, there were some great stories created! A big thank you to the leaders in Fighting Words for their care and attention to our students.
