Board of Management – Parent Nominees
To: All Parents/Guardians
The term of office of the current Board of Management of St. Mac Dara’s CC is coming to an end. Therefore, we need to elect two parents to the new Board of Management.
Each parent/guardian is asked to nominate two parents (1 male and 1 female). Those nominated must have a student attending the school for the 2024/25 academic year. An election will then be held to select the male and female who, once ratified, will become the two parent nominees on the new Board of Management.
5 male nominees and female nominees receiving the most nominations will go on the ballot, or any nominated parent with more than 5% of the nominations in the male category and in the female category will go on the ballot. When nominations have been processed, a link to a survey from the Parents Association will be posted on the school’s website for an election to be held between 11th October and 14th October. At that stage you will be offered an option to vote for one male from the list of male nominees and one female from the list of female nominees. The male and female receiving the most votes will be deemed elected.
