Geography Rocks
Geography is the study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere. Here in St. Mac Dara’s we learn about physical and regional geography in both Junior and senior cycle.
Geography Rocks is for students interested in geography and takes place on the last Tuesday of every month in room A6. During our meetings we do quiz’s, games and watch interesting educational videos. A special trip is organised every year to famous geographical sites in Ireland, Previous trips include The Giants Causeway in County Antrim and Glendalough in County Wicklow, and last year we are went a trip to the Burren in County Clare, where we went caving in natural caves!!
Announcements are always made before meetings, and new members are always welcome.
