Niamh Doherty – Academic Scholarship

Congratulations to former student Niamh Doherty on receiving an Academic Scholarship from DCU for her outstanding results in the Leaving Cert 2019. Niamh is studying for a Bachelor of Business Studies International and is pictured on the night she received her award with Principal Mr Ward.

This scholarship is richly deserved. Niamh was an exceptional student during her time in St Mac Dara’s. She always found a way to balance her academic pursuits with participating in other aspects of school life, particularly in the area of Sport. She played for both the Camogie and Football School Teams throughout her time here while also playing her club St Judes. She is a fantastic role model for all our current students and we wish her all the very best for the future.
